Eliminating ‘Dead Weight’ in 2017
As we approach the end of 2016 and begin a new chapter for 2017, it is important to recognize dead weight in our lives that may stop us from progression. Dead weight is a heavy or oppressive burden that we often times don’t recognize is affecting our daily lives, until it is too late— and well then we SNAP!
For the past two months I have been experiencing burn out nearly to exhaustion that has been keeping me from reaching new heights with my blog site as well as with two other businessadventures. This burn out has eventually lead to dead weight— and is no longer serving me purpose in my life, due to not learning anything new and always being tired and restless. Dead weight also leads to less creativity, blockage from new opportunities, and higher stress levels.
In 2017 the goal is to learn how to not overextend myself when it comes to work in order to lower my stress levels and put more faith into God.
If there is no growth, there is no elevation. The moment you feel like you are not growing, it is time to leave whatever it is that has made you stagnant. If you are not happy at a particular company or in a current relationship, why continue to put more dead weight on your mental or body. Learn to leave it alone, and let it go. Whatever you end up leaving behind, God always replenishes and restores. You just have to have faith that everything will work itself out in the end.
Take the lesson and leave the garbage behind. There’s a season for everything and somethings are just preparing us for our next destination in life. In 2017, leave all the dead weight behind and renew your mindset for new beginnings. If you’re not learning, how will you grow?
